FREE BICYCLE SECURITY TAGGING

Due to an increase in bicycle theft in the area, Wetherby Police are
encouraging Villagers to have their bikes tagged with their post code and
house number. Whilst this will not prevent theft it will make it difficult
for the thief to sell on the bike. It can also lead to the return of the
bike to its rightful owner.

A tagging event takes place at Bardsey Sports Club on Sunday 4th December
2011 at 11am to 1pm. THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THIS SERVICE. All bike owners
are welcome
